Our student racers were amazing this weekend. Travis and Haaris both moved up about 3 positions! They dug deep and pushed beyond their ability, that we have seen. This was the last race of the season and was the State Championship race.
Here is how we placed:
JV Girls:
Betty: 2nd in race, 1st place for series (State Champion)
JV Boys:
Boone: 2nd place in race (by 3 inches), 1st place for series (State Champion)
Creed: 4th place in race, 2nd place for series
Travis: 3rd place at race, 4th place for series
Haaris: 8th place at race, 8 or 9th pace is series (no final postings)
Two other team members did not make it to the race.
