Trail Maintenance Status

Under the trail maintenance status we have a method of tracking when the trails were last Mowed, Trimmed, other odd jobs performed, and any work that may be needed. These pages will show where work is needed on individual trails. From this a TO-DO list is generated for each trail network. These pages will help identify where work is needed for individual trails at these locations.

Trail Work Opportunities

BVMBA Monthly Trail Work Days: The club normally holds a monthly trail work day on the first Saturday after the first Monday of the Month, which follows the release of the monthly club newsletter. Location could be at Millican Reserver or Lake Bryan or Location recorded as TBD as work is needed. Dates and location are posted on the club calendar, and is announced in the club’s monthly news letter prier to the work days.
Special Trail Work Days: Some work days are scheduled as needed or when time permits and may be posted on the club calendar, or posted to the club discussion forum. These work days are where a lot of the work gets done, and you can join in when your schedule permits. On occasions a special project or need for many bodies comes about that will be outside of the standard monthly trail work day. It may be something like moving dirt to get an erosion issue resolved before a rain storm. This is a good way to accumulate volunteer hours.
